They're all going to have to learn how to do it. Stephen, I love these online services and a lot of", "start": 338.86, "stop": 342.62, "id": 64}, {"text": " people are great fans of them, but as you know, you get a lot of complaints from", "start": 342.62, "stop": 345.42, "id": 65}, {"text": " users. You have your feedback thing. I'd be interested in knowing one of the", "start": 345.42, "stop": 348.22, "id": 66}, {"text": " biggest complaints. What would people like to see done better on these online", "start": 348.22, "stop": 352.06, "id": 67}, {"text": " services? Well, it tends to be things jumping around to other services easily.", "start": 352.06, "stop": 357.46, "id": 68}, {"text": " The movement going from one access to another, it seems to be the key complaint", "start": 357.82, "stop": 362.04, "id": 69}, {"text": " that we get, if any. Making it easy to use is one thing, but really people like", "start": 362.04, "stop": 366.74, "id": 70}, {"text": " to jump instantly to the other services they use. That means the time lag, it's", "start": 366.74, "stop": 370.46, "id": 71}, {"text": " the one moment, please, dot, dot, dot. Exactly. The problem of different languages, different commands in different", "start": 374.84, "stop": 378.22, "id": 73}, {"text": " parts of the service, why can't that be cleaned up so you can learn one set of", "start": 378.22, "stop": 381.74, "id": 74}, {"text": " commands and go anywhere? Well, you know, that tends to be a function of how many", "start": 381.74, "stop": 385.96, "id": 75}, {"text": " different bits of information we have sitting out there on our service. Well, you can bet we're exploring all those areas. You have a kind of more graphic, friendly, home approach to", "start": 434.38, "stop": 438.36, "id": 90}, {"text": " your online service. Right. We just launched QuantumLink a year ago in November.", "start": 438.36, "stop": 441.14, "id": 91}, {"text": " And when we entered the market, we saw three problems for", "start": 441.36, "stop": 443.64, "id": 92}, {"text": " consumer users of online services.", "start": 443.64, "stop": 445.16, "id": 93}, {"text": " The first is they're too expensive. The second was they're just too difficult to", "start": 445.52, "stop": 448.64, "id": 94}, {"text": " use. And the third is they just weren't fun. And so what we've tried to do is", "start": 448.64, "stop": 452.78, "id": 95}, {"text": " develop a service specifically for Commodore users that's just very easy to use.", "start": 452.78, "stop": 456.38, "id": 96}, {"text": " The commands, as you mentioned, work the same across the entire system. Very", "start": 456.46, "stop": 459.72, "id": 97}, {"text": " inexpensive. And there's just a lot of things that are useful to a Commodore", "start": 459.72, "stop": 462.62, "id": 98}, {"text": " user, but they're also fun. We're not afraid to have fun. Yeah, CompuService was", "start": 462.62, "stop": 466.44, "id": 99}, {"text": " very well known. I guess the largest online service. A lot of our viewers are", "start": 466.44, "stop": 469.4, "id": 100}, {"text": " familiar with it. I'd like you to show us QuantumLink though, which is specially", "start": 469.4, "stop": 472.4, "id": 101}, {"text": " designed for Commodore users. Right, Steve? Sure. That's where people meet in rooms like a lobby, which you see here.", "start": 517.64, "stop": 521.3, "id": 115}, {"text": " And they can chat with each other, conduct conferences. And that works the same no matter", "start": 535.8, "stop": 539.8, "id": 120}, {"text": " whether... Across the entire system. So we've tried to take the concepts of", "start": 539.8, "stop": 542.98, "id": 121}, {"text": " interaction and just make it much simpler for the average user. He's naturally a strong advocate of this new kind of networking.", "start": 731.02, "stop": 735.9, "id": 170}, {"text": " Well, they can get free or low-cost programs, user-supported programs, and they", "start": 736.68, "stop": 740.6, "id": 171}, {"text": " also have access to a huge intellectual base of talent and experience of people", "start": 740.6, "stop": 745.64, "id": 172}, {"text": " who have tried other products and perhaps would have a comment on those products.", "start": 745.64, "stop": 749.14, "id": 173}, {"text": " Don has been managing the IBM forums for five years now.
